Ingredients
2 Large Capsicum3 tbs gram flour (Besan)
2 tsp sesame seeds
2 tsp shredded dry coconut
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp shredded ginger
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp aamchur powder (optional)
2 tbs oil
salt to taste
1. Mix gram flour , red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, sesame seeds ,salt , garam masala , aamchur powder and shredded coconut and roast on medium flame in heavy bottom pan for 3 to 4 mins until nice aroma start coming from mixture. Stir it frequently to avoid burning.
2. let it cool while we prepare capsicum for next step.
3. Cut capsicums in large cube like pieces. Take little oil and put drop in each capsicum piece. Apply drop of oil in pieces so that the mixture can be well coated.Sprinkle little salt on it.
4. Apply the gram flour mixture in all pieces nicely so that all peaces are fully coated.
5. Heat oil in heavy bottom pan, add Jeera and ginger paste. Once ginger is becomes brown in color put well coated capsicum cubes in oil. Cover the pan and cook for 3 mins. Give it a stir. again cook for 5 to 7 mins until capsicum becomes tender.
6. If needed add little more oil to avoid burning.
7. Delicious Masala capsicum is ready to serve. Serve with roti or paratha.
